GENERAL INFORMATION

XPS GYPFOR plasterboard is suitable for indoor applications. The XPS (extruded polystyrene) board association with gypsum laminated plaster combines ease of application to the excellent thermal resistance of the extruded polystyrene. Available with STANDARD and AQUA plasterboards, 12.5 mm and 15 mm thicknesses, and XPS plates of 30 mm and 40 mm thicknesses, designed to meet the energy efficiency improvement requirements.
Platesboard composed of a non-combustible gypsum core, integrally involved in coating paper, color marfim. The product is ready for a variety of treatments and finishes after adequate surface preparation.

The GYPFOR XPS plasterboard can be used in applications that require direct mechanical attachment to wood or metal structures in or pasted with adhesives.
Gypsum XPS plasterboard provides fire resistance, however does not suit the maximum class Reaction to fire required for certain applications.

APPLICATIONS

The GYPFOR XPS plasterboard is only suitable for interior drywall applications and should not be applied with temperatures above 52 degrees Celsius (125 degrees Fahrenheit) for extended periods or in areas of extreme humidity.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Core: Noncombustible, dimensionally stable inert gypsum.
Paper: 100 percent recycled; front and edges are ivory (STANDARD+XPS) and green (AQUA+XPS) colored; back is gray colored.
Long edges: Tapered in all sizes; rounded or square in 1/2 inch.

To maintain performance integrity, the drywall board should be protected from exposure to adverse conditions during storage and construction.
